Sunday School (3-year-old to grade 5)

Trinity Lutheran Church offers youth Sunday school for those ages 3 – grade 5. Sunday school is held from 9:15 to 10:15 am on Sundays, September through May.

Trinity uses the Lutheran curriculum - SPARK - Activate Faith - to help get kids excited about the stories of the Bible. SPARK lessons bring to life stories from the Old and New Testament through games, art, music and science to accommodate all the different ways kids learn. An exciting feature of SPARK is students ages 3 – grade 2 will each receive a SPARK Story Bible and book bag of their own, to use each week in class.

Sunday school students also have grade appropriate memory work, which builds each year on verses, The Lord’s Prayer, Books of the Bible, Commandments, and the Apostle’s Creed. Students also participate in Christmas programs, “Jake the Pancake Man” breakfast, and the Palm Sunday Parade. You will find the Sunday school registration form under the Resources menu button or from the church office.

For more information about Sunday school please contact Jean Schwirtz at
jschwirtz@tlcwaupaca.org or call the church office at 715-258-7688.

FefifoFUN! (Grades 1-5)

FeFiFoFUN is an after-school program for Trinity youth in grades 1-5.

Students gather on the first Wednesday of every month (October - April) from 3:15-4:30 pm to praise God, play games, and have fun! Busing is available from the Waupaca Learning Center. Please call the Trinity church office with any questions, or if you would like to be included on the mailing list.

Confirmation (Grades 6-9)

Confirmation at Trinity isn't just about learning. It's about growing into everyday ministers who serve God and God's people in all sorts of ways using the unique gifts that God gives each of us. While experiencing the Old and New Testaments and the Lutheran Small Catechism through the three-year journey that they make together, sixth- through eighth-graders grow closer in relationship with one another and with the God and Savior who made them and made them His. They also have a lot of fun, not only in class each Wednesday night at 7:15 but also in activities in the community that allow them to share their blessings in unique ways. At the end of the journey, early in their ninth-grade year, students affirm their baptism and become adult members of the church. But the journey doesn't stop there!

High School Bible Study (high school students)

Crossover is the community of high-schoolers at Trinity. God crossed over into our world in revolutionary ways when God lived, died, and rose again for us as Jesus. And that good news of God's love crosses over into our lives and the lives of others as we join one another in extraordinary experiences. High-Schoolers meet each Wednesday night at 8:15 during the school year to encounter the Bible, make new friends while taking part in unforgettable events out in the world, and discover both who and whose they are. Come and see!

Faith Ventures (completed 8th grade through graduated seniors)

Faith Ventures is a ministry of Trinity that reminds us that being the church extends far beyond the walls of our church building. Each summer, high-schoolers (including incoming freshmen and recent graduates) travel to places across the United States. The upcoming three-year cycle for Faith Ventures is the ADVENTURE (2017), NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING (2018), SERVICE (2019). Fundraising and other preparation for each trip during the rest of the year helps students to grow in relationships and in responsibility before ultimately growing in their faith through the powerful experience of the trip.
