The Word in Season
The Word in Season reflects on the themes of Sunday's texts with relevant meditations throughout the week. This devotional follows the Revised Common Lectionary that Trinity generally uses in worship. The latest edition is now available in the open, entry-level area of the church building from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday. You can also call Tammy Wright at 715-258-7688 to have it delivered to your home. Large-print versions are available.

Remain Current With Your Pledge If Able
We are grateful to all who have remained current with their pledges (and more) at this time. Because of the generosity of our members, we have been able to adapt our ministries and to reach out to our community and help those in need. Please consider continuing your weekly donations to Trinity as follows:
By mail: Send checks to church at 206 E. Badger St., Waupaca, WI 54981
By drop-off: Deposit offerings in the secure box just inside the south door nearest the church office; the office itself remains closed, but open hours for this limited area of the building are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Members of your TLC family are eager to make sure you have everything you need to be safe and connected to the church and others who love you during this time. Please contact Tammy Wright at 715-258-7688 if you need assistance with any of the following:
Technical support (e.g., accessing worship services or other online resources)
Adding your name/concern to a prayer list
Other … just let us know how we can help.
Ways You Can Help Others
Pray for Residents of Bethany. As you have likely heard, Bethany has had a surge of COVID-19 cases among staff and residents, resulting in multiple deaths. Pray for the residents and workers. And, if you know people living at Bethany, reach out to let them know that you are thinking of them and to pray with them.
Learn about Institutional Racism and White Privilege: These terms can feel threatening and even make us angry … until we understand what they mean. Take time to learn about these issues that are suddenly receiving more attention. Here are some recommended resources to get you started:
Unpacking White Privilege: This article was featured in Living Lutheran magazine early this year and provides good background on white privilege.
Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man: Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho explains his experience as a black man. In this episode, actor Matthew McConaughey asks Acho questions about race and white privilege that are on his mind.
