CHURCH COUNCIL MINUTES: January 25, 2022

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Steve Johnson at 7:01 p.m.

DWELLING IN THE WORD: Council Bible study 1 Corinthians 12:12-20

DISCUSSION:

• Year-End Evaluation of Pastor Andy. Questionnaire handed out, council split into small groups, then came back for group discussion.
• Council Policies presented by Cathy Cowling. Council reviewed new policies, discussion.
       -Motion made by Dave Leder to approve Council Policies with suggested changes made; 2nd by Debby Kinison; Motion carried.
• Pastoral Covenants for Pastor Andy and Pastor Erin presented to council. Council reviewed and had discussion. Pastors thank you for your work on these.
       -Motion by Don Morgan to approve pastoral covenants; 2nd by Alan Kjelland; Motion carried.

INFORMATION:

• Items for new council: Tiny Treasures liaison, council to do one-year at a time commitments.
• February Council Orientation, Tuesday, February 1 at 7:00 PM (new members to council only)
• February 7 (Monday) Council team-building, elect officers, groundwork meeting at 7:00 PM
• Strawberry Fest, June 18
