Palm Sunday Parade
Get ready for one of our most joy-filled traditions—our Palm Sunday donkey parade! This special experience is more than just fun (though there will be plenty of that!). It’s a meaningful way for us to experience the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem together.
Late in the Palm Sunday worship service, we’ll invite everyone to head outside and gather under the canopy. From there, our parade will begin, led by our very special guest … the donkey! (A friendly reminder: please stay behind the donkey as we walk.)
Together, we’ll make our way through the streets over to Main Street and then loop back around to Trinity—waving palms, sharing smiles, and bringing a little “Hosanna!” spirit to our community. Our amazing Confirmation students will serve as our parade police, helping to stop traffic and keep everyone safe along the route. Sticking together as a group ensures the parade runs smoothly and everyone stays safe.
Once we return to the church, the fun continues! There will be time to meet, pet, and take photos with the donkey—a perfect way to wrap up a memorable morning. Then, join us for our Easter Egg Hunt; we’ll meet in the Koinonia Room next to the Sanctuary.
We hope you join us for this long-time tradition and celebrate the season of Easter!
