2026 Scholarships

Trinity’s Educational Endowment Fund, inaugurated by Donald and Margaret Brunner, was established in 2002 especially to assist members of the Trinity community with their college, university, or seminary education through grants. To qualify for scholarship consideration, students or an immediate family member must be a confirmed (voting) member of Trinity. Applications may be obtained from the church office or through Trinity’s website.

The absolute deadline for 2026 applications is Thursday, June 11, at 4 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted. Like electronic submissions, applications sent by postal mail must be received by the church office (not postmarked by the sender) before the 4 p.m. June 11 deadline. There are no exceptions to this rule.

In determining the recipient of an educational grant, Trinity’s Endowment Fund Committee may consider scholastic aptitude and achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, personal qualities such as ambition and discipline, and other factors it considers applicable. Extra consideration will be given to the level of active participation at Trinity. Attendance at a Lutheran college or university is an additional factor that is considered. The grants shall be for undergraduate and seminary expenses only. Proof of enrollment is required as part of the application process.

Previously enrolled college or technical school applications must include academic records for prior semesters completed. Applicants will be notified by July 16, 2026, if they are selected to receive a grant.
